Welcome to Stonecoast Labradors and Photography by Aarone Durocher of Portland, ME.
I discovered my love of the Labrador Retriever when I picked up Maggie (Aarone's Sugar Magnolia) in December of 1999. It was clear that Labs were the breed for me. It was through helping out several friends ringside at dog shows by holding dogs, learning how to show in conformation, and snapping photos ringside that my involvement continued to grow.
It wasn't until 2007 that I was entrusted an adorable puppy named Cascobay's OH MY that the real work started. Maya as we call her has not only put me through the paces in the breed ring, but has also gotten me involved in learning obedience, and hunt training. Maya and I even got our first point together when she went Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite in June of 2010.
Another deep rooted hobby of mine is photography. For me there is nothing more enjoyable than photographing dogs and flowers.
Outside of Labradors and photography, I am a Certified Athletic Trainer, and employed as a Certified Orthopaedic Technologist and Clinical Assistant.
